Horizon is a full service media agency that provides its clients with complete communications planning and activation across all traditional and emerging channels, including digital, social and mobile. These services include consumer insights, channel insights, creative media services, creative digital services, campaign measurement, dashboards and analytics, media research, competitive research, direct marketing, creative traffic services, sports and entertainment marketing, and trade and barter services. Major brands handled by Horizon include Geico, Capital One, Corona Extra, A&E Networks, Turner, Jack in the Box, Dish, and Little Caesars.

Horizon’s seasoned entertainment team has been sourced from all the major studios and dedicated to advertising plans for film releases since Peter Schlessel hired them as the sole media agency of Film District in 2010 up until it was rolled-up into Focus Features and Universal took over their media relationship. Horizon has acted in the same capacity for STX Entertainment, who spends approx. $300-$400MM on advertising annually since it’s inception in 2015. Notable releases handled by Horizon’s team include: BAD MOMS ($113MM USBO), THE GIFT ($44MM USBO), THE BOY ($36MM USBO), OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN ($99MM USBO), INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 ($84MM USBO), INSIDIOUS ($54MM USBO), THAT AWKWARD MOMENT ($26MM USBO), THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING ($36MM USBO) and DRIVE ($35MM USBO).

In 2016, Global Pictures Media signed an exclusive 2-year agreement with AMBI Distribution to co-finance its US releases. The first three films set to be released under the pact are FINDING STEVE MCQUEEN, ARCTIC JUSTICE: THUNDER SQUAD, and LAMBORGHINI. AMBI anticipates utilizing upwards of $100MM of P&A to release its films over the next 2 years. The financing arrangement calls for approx. 70% of debt/mezz P&A from AMBI and 35% of media from Global Pictures.

AMBI Group is a consortium of vertically integrated film development, production, finance and distribution companies wholly owned and operated by Andrea Iervolino and Monika Gomez del Campo Bacardi, Lady of Bayfield Hall, better known as “Monika Bacardi.” They have offices in Toronto, Beverly Hills and Europe, and are dedicated to making high-end, commercial movies for global audiences, with a mandate to serve as a top-tier supplier of mainstream projects for both the studios and major independent distributors worldwide. AMBI plans to distribute 8-10 films every year including in-house and third-party productions. All titles will feature recognizable cast, prolific directors and commercial content. Most will have the potential for a major theatrical release in North America and other major territories.

AMBI has10 films in production and has produced 15 since inception, AMBI has quickly emerged as one of the industry’s most prolific financing, production and sales companies with the capacity to develop, package, finance, produce and sell a broad array of films for worldwide distribution. Among the films on AMBI’s slate is James Franco’s IN DUBIOUS BATTLE, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Franco, Selena Gomez, Robert Duvall, Bryan Cranston, the contemporary fairy tale THIS BEAUTIFUL FANTASTIC starring Tom Wilkinson; a homage to Federico Fellini’s classic film LA DOLCE VITA; the 3D CGI family animated film ARCTIC JUSTICE: THUNDER SQUAD, featuring the voices of Jeremy Renner, John Cleese, Alec Baldwin, James Franco, Angelica Huston and Heidi Klum; the sci-fi thriller RUPTURE starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Chiklis and Peter Stormare;

AMBI recently made news with the acquisition of the Exclusive Media Group film library, which gives AMBI an incredibly diverse portfolio of critical hits, commercial blockbusters and cult favorites. In addition to the library titles, AMBI now has the rights to a number of titles within EMG’s active movie development slate, as well as all sequel and remake rights to the popular EMG films.

Global Pictures Media partnered in 2016 with Electric Entertainment to release THE BOOK OF LOVE starring Jessica Biel. Electric Entertainment is an independent film and television production and distribution company headed by veteran producer Dean Devlin. The company is in post-production on the $150MM Warner Bros. film GEOSTORM, Devlin’s feature directorial debut, which he is producing with David Ellison and Dana Goldberg. The film is scheduled for an October 2017 release. Electric recently finished production on the third season of the highly-rated TNT series THE LIBRARIANS which is based on the TV movie, THE LIBRARIAN, starring Noah Wyle (the highest rated TV movie on cable in 2004), its sequel, and the third installment of the franchise. The show, which has been renewed for a fourth season on TNT, airs on NBC-Universal in most major international territories.

Electric has created an in house state-of-the-art post production, visual FX and sound facility ensuring the highest production value on its own, as well as third party projects, at a fraction of the cost of a traditional facility. Electric also has a sales division which sells its own in-house productions as well as third party films and TV series in the international and domestic markets. Electric Entertainment is a fully functional mini-studio, which develops, packages, produces, finishes and distributes television and feature films for the world wide market and hey are currently building out their US theatrical releasing arm.

Dean Devlin is an acclaimed filmmaker of blockbuster films and highly rated television projects and serves as chairman and CEO of Electric Entertainment, the full-service film, television, worldwide distribution and foreign sales company and studio he founded in May 2001. Over the last twenty years, Devlin has co-written and produced some of the most successful feature films of all time.  He co-wrote and produced STARGATE, GODZILLA and INDEPENDENCE DAY. He will also be producing a new theatrical trilogy of STARGATE for MGM and Warner Bros.] Dean wrote and produced box office hits such as INDEPENDENCE DAY, STARGATE, GODZILLA, and produced THE PATRIOT with Mel Gibson. These films have cumulatively grossed over $2BN in worldwide revenue.

Global Pictures Media recently signed a joint venture with Prolific Media Holdings LLC called Capstone Releasing LLC, which will offer 100% of P&A needed for select films and film slates. The JV will be initially funded with a combined $260MM. Prolific is an all-in-one solution for discerning brands in Media and Entertainment.
